Why the Public Sector should invest in modern workforce training
· The City of Chester, Pennsylvania is excited to roll out initiatives like Global Schools. As mayor, it excites me to connect our young students in this very engaging project based learning initiative that provides young people with the opportunity to engage in real environmental/climate science exercises that will prepare them for the modern day workforce in ways that traditional curriculum cannot. My talking points will center on why government/public sector leading these efforts in our cities serves as a benefit for the individuals involved and our city’s economic growth.
