A semiconductor industry veteran, NY Createsʼ President David Anderson provides strategic leadership to grow and achieve the organizationʼs mission of fostering innovations that drive semiconductor technology development. He oversees a program portfolio with expenditures exceeding $400 million annually from industry and state partners, and federal government research and economic development programs.
Previously, David was President of SEMI Americas, leading SEMIʼs programs and visibility in the Americas. Before that, he founded and was President and CEO of Novati Technologies, Inc., with the worldʼs largest portfolio of novel materials for semiconductor device development. He has held executive positions for development foundries ATDF and SVTC Technologies, and leadership positions at Fairchild Semiconductor, National Semiconductor, the Semiconductor Industry Suppliers Association, and SEMATECH.
David has extensive experience in technology development, process engineering, operations management, supply chain management, international marketing, government relations, and strategy. An influential thought leader in articulating new technology business strategies, he builds high-performing executive teams and rallies stakeholders around critical industry initiatives. He earned a BS degree from Purdue University in Materials Science/Metallurgical Engineering, an MBA from Nasson
College, and completed doctoral studies in Industrial Engineering/Management of Technology at Arizona State University.
