    Tuomas Happonen

    Dr. Tuomas Happonen works as a Senior Scientist at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. He received M.Sc. (Tech), Lic.Sc. (Tech) and D.Sc. (Tech) degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oulu, Finland, in 2005, 2008 and 2016, respectively. From 2004 to 2016 he worked in research and teaching staff at the University of Oulu, and studied testing techniques of electronics, especially reliability testing of printed and flexible electronics. Since 2016 he has been working at VTT focusing on interconnection methods, assembly processes and converting techniques of printed and hybrid electronics. His expertise covers functional testing and reliability assessment of flexible electronics as well as test methodology development in this field. He is also managing research projects in the above-mentioned field with IPMA-C level certification.
