Beau is Principal at WMA Architects, a Phoenix-based, advanced technology architecture practice that has been established for 28 years, and is focused on delivering Mission Critical Architecture with effective quality, efficiency and craft. WMA is a Century 3 Company headquartered in South Carolina. Beau has broad integrated design expertise in Design-Bid-Build, CMaR, Design Build and Integrated Design delivery. He is a member of AIA, DBIA, SCUP and NCARB. He has a Master of Architecture from Arizona State University, he on the faculty at ASU, teaches graduate level architecture and is an active mentor of emerging professionals. He volunteers teaching design to design-build teams at Northern Arizona University School of Construction. He volunteers teaching STEM focused architecture and engineering principles to elementary school students and has developed STEM teaching tools to expand the student understanding of architecture and engineering. Beau is 34 years married, has four adult kids, one son and three daughters. He loves backpacking, nurturing chickens to achieve the best eggs while also, as an avid cookie baker, pursuing the best cookie experience. He is very active hobbyist, loves coffee and thoughtful conversation, reading, and music. He has two published books: “The Craft Advantage – Reviving Craft in Architecture to Build a Better Environment and Improve Influence” and his current available book: “Super-Architect: The Future of Architecture” and a future book called: ”Sustainable Pine: Zero Waste Design and Optimal Living” anticipated to be launched in Q1 2027. His mission is to create better design and construction industry that is aligned with the need for speed, high performance, high craft and next level integration for increased innovation and betterment for an optimized and accelerated project delivery.
