Mark Dante, PhD, is Semiconductor Market Manager - Strategic Initiatives Leader at Syensqo, where he shapes global market strategy and leads initiatives to align advanced plymer solutions with the rapidly evolving needs of the semiconductor industry. In this role, he directs cross-functional teams to deliver product innovation, defines technology roadmaps, and represents the company in industry associations on topics including sustainability, PFAS policy, and carbon neurtrality.
With more than 15 years of international experience, Mark has held leadership roles spanning product management, R&D, supply chain, and process engineering. His career bridges technical innovation and business strategy, from establishing new laboratories and scaling disruptive technologies into manufacturing, to developing global partnerships and guiding emerging technologies through commercialization. He has worked extensively accross Asia, Europe, and North America, building relationships with fabs, OEMs, and other strategic partners to accelerate adoption of next-generation semiconductor materials and processes.
Mark earned his PhD in Materials Chemistry from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where his research focused on nanostructures and electrical properties of organic solar cell materials. He also hold a BS in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University.
