James M. Kaplan is a partner with McKinsey’s New York Office and the CTO of McKinsey’s Technology practice. He supports clients in financial services, health care and high tech on technology strategy including, operating model design, cybersecurity and cloud computing. He led McKinsey’s infrastructure and cybersecurity practices for many years. James publishes frequently on enterprise technology issues in publications like the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, the Sloan Management Review and the McKinsey Quarterly and has spoken on these topics in venues including the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting at Davos, the RSA conference, the Milken Institute conference and SIBOS. He was the lead author for “Beyond Cybersecurity: Protecting Your Digital Business” (Wiley, 2015)
