With nearly 20 years of experience advising Fortune 100 companies and private equity investors, Hugh focuses on helping organizations harness technology to transform industries. While he has deep roots in mergers and acquisitions, his current work centers on defining and executing strategies at the intersection of automotive technology, mobility services, and advanced computing. He brings together perspectives from OEMs, semiconductor companies, software developers, and mobility providers to help clients anticipate disruption and accelerate adoption of next-generation platforms.
At KPMG, Hugh founded and grew the Technology M&A Center of Excellence, a practice dedicated to helping executives solve complex technology challenges in diligence, integration, and transformation. Today, he applies that same disciplined approach to the automotive sector, guiding clients as they scale autonomous systems, adapt to electrification, and build resilient supply chains in an era of semiconductor dependence. He is particularly focused on helping mobility players balance compute, sensor, and software requirements with cost, safety, and regulatory considerations.
Based in Mountain View, California (a resident of “Autonomy Alley”) Hugh is closely engaged with the companies, investors, and policymakers shaping the future of autonomous and connected mobility. He frequently speaks with industry leaders on topics such as scaling autonomy programs and the convergence of automotive and technology business models.
