John Maculley is a seasoned high-tech business leader with over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and broader high-tech sector. Based in Silicon Valley, he currently serves as a Global High-Tech Industry Strategy Consultant at Dassault Systèmes, where he advises leading technology companies on digital transformation, innovation acceleration, and ecosystem co-optimization.
Prior to joining Dassault Systèmes, John spent 12 years at Micron Technology, where he held pivotal leadership positions including Global Director of Operational Excellence and Senior Process R&D Program Manager. During his tenure, he led enterprise-wide process improvements and championed strategic digital initiatives that transformed business performance and product development cycles.
John has also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at Boise State University, where he taught graduate-level courses in new product development, bringing real-world industry insights into the classroom.
Earlier in his career, John held operational and engineering roles at NASA, GE, and Boeing, gaining valuable cross-industry experience that continues to inform his strategic approach.
He holds an M.B.A. from The College of William & Mary and a B.S. from San Diego State University. He has also earned professional certificates in Artificial Intelligence from MIT and in Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
A published author on new product development and introduction, John is recognized as a thought leader in semiconductor innovation and cross-industry technology strategies. He frequently shares insights on the future of digital engineering, intelligent manufacturing, and the evolving semiconductor ecosystem.
