Michel A. Kinsy is the founding director of the Secure, Trusted, and Assured Microelectronics (STAM) Center at Arizona State University and serves as an Associate Professor in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering. His research centers on secure computer architectures, hardware-level security, and the efficient hardware design and implementation of post-quantum cryptographic systems. Before joining ASU, Dr. Kinsy was an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University, where he also served as Associate Director of the Texas A&M Cybersecurity Center (TAMC2). He previously held faculty positions at Boston University and the University of Oregon. From 2013 to 2014, he worked as a fully cleared Member of the Technical Staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. Dr. Kinsy is an MIT Presidential Fellow and the inaugural recipient of the Skip Ellis Career Award. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
