Brad Hegrat is a Security Innovation Principal Director with Accenture’s Cyber-Physical Security practice, where he serves a subject matter advisory for manufacturing security and product security for the high-tech markets.
As a seasoned executive with deep cybersecurity expertise in highly critical manufacturing and product security domains, his career has spanned over 25 years. Brad has had the pleasure of leading industry on various fronts, to include co-founding the world’s second Industrial-focused cybersecurity consultancy in 2004, creating the Critical Infrastructure industry’s first Product Security Incident Response Teams (PSIRT) in 2007, and later establishing industry’s first Product Security Programs in 2011.
In addition to these firsts, Brad served as the security architect and technical business leader for the joint Rockwell/Cisco Design and Implementation Guides, as well as a participant in various standards and consortia to include ISA/IEC-62443, NIST 800-82, as well as others.
Brad is an active CISSP, a retired CISM, a US Marine Veteran, and holder of sixteen (16) unique US patents (46 internationally) in security, industrial cloud, digital twin, big data, endpoint intelligence collection, and AI network orchestration.
