Yashvi Singh is a Senior Front-End Technology Development Capital Supplier Development Manager at Micron Technology. In this role, she drives Micron’s U.S. semiconductor memory expansion through strategic collaboration with technology development teams and suppliers. She leads technical procurement strategies for Real Defect Analysis and Metrology equipment, ensuring Micron’s technology roadmap is achieved through equipment innovation and cost competitiveness.
Before her current role, Yashvi spent five years as an R&D DRAM Process Integration Engineer at Micron, where she led various DRAM modules. She played a crucial role as a module owner for the back-end contacts module in Micron's Alpha chip. Her work on the front-end periphery module was implemented in Micron's Beta and Gamma chip. Yashvi also led the setup of the Extreme Ultraviolet Lithography process in Micron Taiwan's high-volume manufacturing fab, achieving significant advancements in DRAM technology.
Yashvi holds an MS in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University, where her thesis focused on the high-temperature characterization of monolayer TMD field-effect transistors. She earned her B.Tech (Hons) in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, where she graduated as valedictorian and was awarded the President Medal for her academic excellence. Her bachelor’s thesis won the Innovative Student Project Award from the Indian National Academy of Engineering.
Driven by her passion for electronic materials, Yashvi chose to pursue a career in semiconductor engineering. Her academic journey is distinguished by numerous accolades, including the AAUW International Fellowship Alternate Award, S.N. Bose Scholars Program Award, and DAAD-WISE Scholarship Award. She was recently awarded the prestigious Society of Women Engineers Trailblazer Award and the SEMICON West 20 Under30 Award.
Yashvi’s dedication to her field is showcased through her numerous presentations at international conferences such as the GSA WISH Conference, SPIE Conference, and ASME Conference. Her exceptional contributions at Micron have earned her several accolades, including the Best Talk Award-Process and the People’s Choice Poster Award at Technology Development Seminars. Yashvi's innovative spirit is further evidenced by her contributions to numerous patents and publications.
Outside of work, Yashvi is an avid painter, calligrapher, community service volunteer, hiker, scuba diver, and skier.
