    Adam Schafer is the CEO of Athinia, a joint venture of Palantir and EMD Digital. He joined Athinia in 2024 following a 22-year career at Intel and 2 years with the CHIPS for America office in the US Department of Commerce.
    Adam was on the CHIPS Strategy team driving US based Semiconductor Manufacturing including the Technology Portfolio, Supply Line Sustainability, Supply Chain Resilience, Workforce Development, Construction, ESG, and Chemical Compliance.
    At Intel Adam began his career as a process engineer, moving to equipment supply chain management, and most recently, as the Senior Director for Supply Chain Responsibility.
    Adam received his B.S. in Chemistry & Philosophy from SUNY Oswego in 1994, and his M.S. & Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Washington in 2000.
