This session will highlight strong partnerships between industry and educators that accelerate the pathways in employment, and attendees will glean best practices for collaboration between colleges and industry. Finally, the session will introduce SEMI Certificates for Individuals, and for Programs and Courses. SEMI Certificates for Individuals help overcome the challenge of traditional education pathways for job-seekers. SEMI Certificates for Programs and Courses recognize excellent programs and courses that teach fundamental semiconductor knowledge in a way that is valued by industry partners. SEMI Certified programs demonstrate the highest standards of program excellence in preparing entry-level workers to succeed in the growing semiconductor industry. Session attendees will walk away from the session with concrete next steps to pursue SEMI Certification, either as an individual or an educational institution.
