The demand for a highly skilled semiconductor workforce has never been greater. To meet this challenge, the United States, with funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and supported by the Department of Commerce, has launched the National Network for Microelectronics Education (NNME). Led by the SEMI Foundation, the NNME is a coordinated, nationwide effort to connect industry, academia, and government in building the future of talent. This session will introduce the NNME, highlight its innovative approach to unifying curricula and training, and share how it will expand opportunities for students and workers while addressing critical workforce gaps in microelectronics.
