Mason Lyu is the Senior Manager of Product Marketing at Chroma ATE Inc., where he leads strategy and execution for automated test equipment (ATE) solutions. With more than 18 years of experience in the IC design industry, Mason combines a strong technical foundation with extensive marketing expertise to help customers address the evolving challenges of advanced device testing.
Mason began his career as a digital IC designer, working on circuits for multimedia and security applications. This early engineering experience gave him a deep understanding of IC design, validation, and quality requirements. Over time, he transitioned into product marketing and business leadership, building a career that bridges technical innovation with market strategy.
At Chroma ATE, Mason is responsible for product definition, roadmap planning, and global marketing initiatives that align engineering advancements with customer needs. He works closely with R&D teams, sales organizations, and industry partners to ensure that Chroma’s ATE solutions deliver measurable value in performance, efficiency, and reliability. His current focus is on enabling IC design companies to manage increasing device complexity, accelerate design cycles, and maintain the highest standards of product quality.
Prior to joining Chroma, Mason held leadership roles across product line management, business development, and market strategy, giving him a holistic perspective on the IC design ecosystem. His background spans high-speed interface technologies, microcontrollers, and compliance testing, with a consistent emphasis on turning technical capability into solutions that succeed in the marketplace.
At Semicon West 2025, Mason will share insights on how automated testing is evolving to support next-generation IC design and architectures. He emphasizes the critical role of ATE in ensuring that innovation in design is matched by equal advances in validation and reliability.
